Paperiode is a fast, satisfying take on the paper-territory genre: glide out, loop a chunk of the map, and snap it shut to paint it yours — but leave your trail exposed for a split second too long and a rival cuts you down. One slick run can swallow half the board. One greedy loop ends it.


🌍 World Cup Mode

The headline event. Every blob plays for a country, and the land you capture is painted with your flag — claim the whole arena and the entire flag fills the map. Most territory when the final whistle blows lifts the Cup. Equip a country skin to pick your nation, or get drawn at random.

  • Power-ups on the map — grab Speed, Shield and Coin drops mid-run (the bots fight for them too).
  • Coins, shop & post-death bonus draft — earn, unlock, and gear up for the next run.
  • Floating nameplates & a live leaderboard — see exactly who's winning the board.

🎮 How to play

  • Steer your blob to leave your territory and draw a loop.
  • Return to your own land to capture everything inside the loop.
  • Don't get cut — if anyone (including you) crosses your trail while it's out, you're gone.
  • Press C for the World Cup menu, or hit the gold button on the title screen.
Tip: the bigger the loop, the bigger the payoff — and the bigger the risk.

Built in Unity (URP) — meshes, materials, audio and skins are all generated in code, no external art assets. A compact, hyper-casual prototype made as a marketing-developer showcase.
